FSA Board Meetings

Our Board is chaired by Professor Susan Jebb and has up to 12 members. They are responsible for the overall strategic direction of our organisation.

As transparency is a guiding principle for the Food Standards Agency and key to maintaining public confidence, you are able to watch our board meetings.

Due to pre-election restrictions on communications, the June Board meeting will not be available to view live.  The recording of the meeting and the papers will be available on this website as of 5 July.

Submit a question to the FSA Board

Due to pre-election restrictions on communications, the papers for the June Board meeting will not be published on this website until 5 July.  Therefore we will not be able to accept questions ahead of the meeting.  There will be an opportunity to submit questions for the Board when the papers are published and to receive a written response within 20 working days.

Committees of the FSA Board

The FSA Board appointed an Audit and Risk Assurance Committee (ARAC) and Business Committee to exercise some of its responsibilities and to advise it on others.
