Food and You 2

Food and You 2 is our official statistic survey with consumers in England, Wales and Northern Ireland. The research is conducted biannually using a primarily online methodology. It covers topics such as food safety in the home, food shopping, eating out, food security, concerns about food, and trust in the FSA and food supply chain. The first wave of data collection began in July 2020.

Food and You 2: Northern Ireland Wave 7-8 Key Findings

This report presents findings from respondents in Northern Ireland, in Waves 7 and 8 of the Food and You 2 survey, therefore reported findings refer to data collected in Northern Ireland unless otherwise specified. Where the same data were collected in both Waves 7 and 8, the findings from Wave 8 are reported.

Food Hygiene Rating Scheme (FHRS) Food and You 2: Wave 6

Food and You 2 is a biannual ‘Official Statistic’ survey commissioned by the Food Standards Agency (FSA). The survey measures self-reported consumers’ knowledge, attitudes and behaviours related to food safety and other food issues amongst adults in England, Wales, and Northern Ireland. This report presents main findings from the Food and You 2: Wave 6 ‘Eating out and takeaway’ module relating to the Food Hygiene Rating Scheme (FHRS).

This is the first Food and You 2 trends report which provides an overview of key trends between Wave 1 (July 2020 to October 2020) and Wave 6 (October 2022 to January 2023).
