Executive Summary
The theme of this meeting is Feed. The meeting will be held at Fane Valley Feeds Ltd site in Omagh, followed by a tour of their facilities. The Committee will receive a presentation from FSA officials who will layout the FSA’s role and position in respect to feed policy.
The Committee will then hear from the Chief Executive of NIGTA who will present on their trade awareness course, challenges in the supply chain, quality assurance schemes and sustainability/environmental issues. This will be followed by a presentation from Food Fortress.
Fane Valley Feeds will deliver an overview of their business and operations, followed by a tour of their mill. Once the tour has concluded there will be a roundtable for questions and discussion.
