Privacy notice for Food Allergy and Intolerance training

The Food Standards Agency will be what is known as the ‘Controller’ of the personal data provided.

Indegu Ltd is the 'Processor' of the personal data provided, operating on behalf of the FSA.

Purpose and lawful basis for processing 

We collect, use and store your personal data for the purposes of registering you for a training account, administering your account and providing you with a certificate.

We do this in line with our commitment to educating a range of stakeholders about Food Allergies and in line with our statutory duties under the Food Standards Act 1999. Under UK GDPR we collect this information to fulfil our Public Task.

We will not collect any personal data from you which we do not need. 

How and where we store your data and who we may share it with 

We retain personal information only for as long as necessary to carry out these purposes, and in line with our retention policy.

Your personal data will be accessed by our contracted training provider, Idegu Ltd,  who administer the training accounts and provide technical support to users on our behalf.
