Ossa organic is recalling Ossa Organic Chicken Bone, Beef Bone and Vegetable Broth because of a labelling error which shows an incorrect use-by date, making them unsafe to eat.

An extended date was put on the product, making it unsafe for consumers to eat.

Action taken by the company

Ossa Organic is recalling the above products from customers. The company has also issued a point-of-sale notice to its customers. These notices explain to customers why the product is being recalled and tells them what to do if they have bought the product. Please see attached notice.

Our advice to consumers

About product recalls and withdrawals

If there is a problem with a food product that means it should not be sold, then it might be 'withdrawn' (taken off the shelves) or 'recalled' (when customers are asked to return the product).
