Update 1: Wanis recalls Tropical Sun Semolina Fine and Coarse because of undeclared wheat (gluten)
Wanis is recalling Tropical Sun Semolina Fine and Coarse products because they contain wheat (gluten) which is not mentioned on the label. This means the products are a possible health risk for anyone with coeliac disease, and/or an allergy or intolerance to wheat or gluten. This recall has been extended to include the Semolina Coarse product.

These products contain wheat (gluten) making them a possible health risk for anyone with coeliac disease, and/or an allergy or intolerance to wheat or gluten.
Action taken by the company
Wanis is recalling the above products from customers and has contacted the relevant allergy support organisations, which will tell their members about the recall. The company has also issued a recall notice to its customers. These notices explain to customers why the products are being recalled and tell them what to do if they have bought the products. Please see the attached notice.
Our advice to consumers
If you have bought these products and have coeliac disease, and/or an allergy or intolerance to wheat or gluten, do not eat them. Instead, return the products to the store from where they were purchased for a full refund. For more information contact Tropicalsunfoods.com.
