Consultation subject
The proposed changes to the Code will implement a new food standards delivery model, including increasing the flexibility local authorities have to use official control methods and techniques, and direct local authority resource to where it is most needed to tackle risk in the food chain.
Purpose of this consultation
To seek stakeholder views on the proposed changes to the Code that are necessary to introduce the new food standards delivery model.
