The Food Standards Agency will be what is known as the ‘Controller’ of the personal data provided to us.
Purpose and law basis of processing
We need to collect this information for communicating and sharing information in relation to the delivery of food and feed official controls.
You have consented to provide this information to us but can withdraw your consent at any time by getting in touch with us.
How and where we store your data and who we may share it with
We retain personal information only for as long as necessary to carry out these functions, and in line with our retention policy. This means that this information will be retained for as long as you are an active user and no longer than 12 months after last login. We will remind you when your account is to be deleted due to inactivity. If you notify us that you no longer wish to be listed on the database we will delete your information immediately.
Lead officer details will be shared with the Animal and Plant Health Agency (APHA) for the purposes of Certification Support Officer training.
