The Food Standards Agency will be what is known as the 'Controller' of the personal data provided to us.

Purpose and lawful basis for processing

We need to collect this information for the purpose of developing and delivering policies relating to our statutory remit for food. The personal information that we hold on you consists of your name and any relevant contact details. We do this in line with the performance of our statutory duties and in the public interest and we will not collect any personal data from you which we do not need.

We retain personal information only for as long as necessary to carry out these functions.  Your contact details will be held until you inform us that you no longer wish to receive the information or ask for your information to be deleted.
