Information on the privacy policy relating to stakeholder contact information in Northern Ireland, why we require data, what we do with the data and your rights.

The Food Standards Agency will be what is known as the ‘Controller’ of the personal data provided to us.

Purpose and lawful basis for processing

The personal information that we hold on you consists of your name and any relevant contact details.

We need to collect this information for the purpose of contacting you in relation to FSA consultations, policy design and/or events of relevance to you.

We do this in line with the performance of our statutory duties and in the public interest.

We retain personal information only for as long as necessary to carry out these functions, and in line with our retention policy. 

We may share your details with third party contractors who may contact you on our behalf. These third parties are our processors and only operate under our strict instruction.
