Jessica Williams - Welsh Food Advisory Committee member

Jessica’s career began after qualifying as an Environmental Health Officer (EHO) at the University of Wales Institute Cardiff with a First-class honours degree in 2006.
She worked for 13 years with Gwynedd Councils Public Protection department specialising in Food Hygiene, Food Standards and Infectious disease.
In 2008 Jessica was a recipient of a Hybu Cig Cymru (HCC)/ Meat Promotions Wales Scholarship to Australia.
Jessica became an Agrisgop Leader in 2017 self-employed providing business and personal development training to Farm Businesses through the Welsh Governments Farming Connect Agrisgop Programme. She has since gone on to gain a Postgraduate Certificate in Leading Change through Aberystwyth University.
Jessica now lives in rural Wales in Tywyn, Gwynedd where she farms with her husband and young family.
