Risk
Certain date codes of the above products may contain celery, soya and mustard, which are not declared on the label. This makes the products a potential health risk for people who are allergic to these allergens.
Action taken by the company
Vegetarian World has recalled the affected date codes. In addition, the company has also contacted the relevant allergy support organisations, which will inform their at-risk members of the recall. Notices will be displayed in all stores to alert consumers to the reasons for the recall, and the actions they can take if they have purchased the product(s). Customers with an allergy to celery, soya or mustard are advised not to consume these products.
