Boutinot Ltd recalls the NOVAS Winemaker’s Selection White 2006 brand of Chardonnay Marsanne Viognier wine due to incorrect allergen labelling information

Action taken by the company:
Boutinot Ltd has recalled the affected product, which they import from Chile and which is sold mainly in independent retailers and to some restaurants and also in Booths, (E H Booths and Co Ltd) stores. The wine is to be removed from sale and re-labelled with correct allergy labelling information, before being put back on sale. Boutinot Ltd has also provided retailers with product recall notices that can be placed in retail stores.
E H Booths and Co Ltd has contacted the relevant allergy support organisations, who will inform their at-risk members and has put up the recall notices in its stores.
No other NOVAS Winemaker’s Selection products are known to be affected
Advice to consumers:
Customers sensitive to sulphites are advised not to drink these products.
