Meeting of Welsh Food Advisory Committee: 19 January 2012

The Welsh Food Advisory Committee of the Food Standards Agency is holding an open meeting in Cardiff on Thursday 19 January 2012.
Agenda items to be discussed will include:
- the Food Standards Agency as a UK department working in an area of devolved competence
- the use of lactic acid to reduce microbiological surface contamination from bovine carcases, cuts and trimmings
- issues associated with nanotechnology

The meeting will be held at the Food Standards Agency, Southgate House, Wood Street, Cardiff, CF10 1EW. Registration and coffee are available from 9.15am, with a prompt start at 9.30am.
