Agency seeks contractors to carry out research

The Food Standards Agency has announced the areas of research that it is looking to commission on a contract basis. The research will be used to develop and support the Agency’s policies.
The areas of research are:
- chemical contaminants from food contact materials and articles
- chemical contaminants in food and from food production
- mycotoxins and process contaminants
- food authenticity
- research and surveillance in Scotland
These areas address some of the science and evidence requirements of the Agency’s Forward Evidence Plan.
