Agency seeks contractors to carry out research

The Food Standards Agency has announced the areas of research that it is looking to commission on a contract basis. The research will be used to develop and support the Agency’s policies.

The areas of research are:

• chemical contaminants from food contact materials and articles
• chemical contaminants in food and from food production
• mycotoxins and process contaminants
• food authenticity
• research and surveillance in Scotland

These areas address some of the science and evidence requirements of the Agency’s Forward Evidence Plan.
