Citizens' forum findings on food issues in Scotland
Tuesday 2 February 2010
The Food Standards Agency in Scotland has published the latest report of people's views on food issues in Scotland. This is part of a series of citizens' forums set up to establish a dialogue with the public on food.
The British Marketing Research Bureau (BMRB) was commissioned by the Food Standards Agency (FSA) to conduct a series of citizens’ forums to establish an ongoing dialogue with the public in Scotland. Now in its second year and following the publication of Recipe for Success: A National Food and Drink Policy for Scotland, the 2009 wave of forums sought to listen to and examine consumers’ views on the ways in which the FSA can support the Scottish Government to deliver the National Food and Drink Policy, whilst still promoting the FSA's vital purpose – safe food and healthy eating for all.
The fieldwork, which consisted of three workshops, took place in August and September 2009. The report that highlights the key findings is available via the link below.
