ACAF open meeting 3 March 2010

The Committee's 49th meeting will take place on 3 March 2010, in open session, at Aviation House, London.
This is an opportunity for interested parties and members of the public to observe how this government advisory committee operates, and to follow the debate on a range of animal feed issues. At the close of the meeting observers will be given a chance to ask questions of the Committee. A draft agenda is attached below for your information.
There is no entrance fee but places must be booked in advance using the attached registration form. ACAF's terms of reference
To advise the Food Standards Agency, the Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs, Ministers of the Scottish Government, the National Assembly for Wales and the Minister for Agriculture and Rural Development in Northern Ireland on the safety and use of animal feeds and feeding practices, with particular emphasis on protecting human health and with reference to new technical developments. In carrying out its functions, the Committee liaises with other relevant advisory committees as appropriate.
