Open meeting of Welsh Food Advisory Committee: 21 July 2009

The Welsh Food Advisory Committee of Food Standards Agency Wales is holding an open meeting at the Royal Welsh Showground on 21 July 2009.
The meeting will include a themed discussion on primary production, with a presentation on food chain information about cattle and sheep that will become a requirement from January 2010 and an update on skin-on sheep meat (also known as ‘smokies’).
The meeting will be held at the Hospitality Pavilion, Royal Welsh Showground, Llanelwedd, Builth Wells, LD2 3SY. Registration and coffee are available from 13.50pm, with a prompt start at 14.15pm.
Anyone with an interest in these subjects or the general work of the Food Standards Agency Wales is invited to attend this meeting, to share their views, and to participate in an open question and answer session.
