Views wanted on Codex Committee on Milk and Milk Products

Members of the National Codex Consultative Committee (NCCC) are meeting prior to the ninth Session of the Codex Committee on Milk and Milk Products (CCMMP) to help establish the UK position on items under discussion, including standards for processed cheese, fermented milk and the maximum levels of annatto extracts in milk and milk products.
The meeting, scheduled for early January 2010, will include representatives from the British Retail Consortium, Dairy UK, Food and Drink Federation, LACORS, National Consumers’ Federation, Sustain, National Farmers’ Union and Which?. Anyone who would like submit comments on any of the CCMMP agenda items should contact the appropriate NCCC member.
The CCMMP meeting is being held in New Zealand from 1 to 5 February 2010. More details can be found on the Codex website at the link below.
