Fray Bentos recalls minced beef and onion pies

Fray Bentos has recalled some of its own brand Minced Beef & Onion Pie (425g), because it may contain pieces of metal. The affected batch has only been supplied to Iceland stores. The Agency has issued a Food Alert for Information.

- Best before end: June 2010
- Batch code: 8169
Fray Bentos has recalled the affected batch from sale. Product recall notices will be displayed in all Iceland stores, explaining why the product has been recalled. Anyone who has bought the product can return it for a full refund. No other Fray Bentos products are known to be affected.
