Imported food controls questionnaire 2007/08

The Agency has today circulated to all local authorities and port health authorities its annual questionnaire on the enforcement of imported food controls between 1 April 2007 and 31 March 2008.

The information supplied will enable the Agency to give a continuing commitment to providing dedicated resources to support local enforcement of imported food controls. It will also enable us to evaluate how much enforcement of the imported food regulations is achieved, especially if local authorities are achieving the 10% target of all food sampling carried out to be on imported food.

We would be grateful if local authorities could submit their completed questionnaires by Friday 18 July 2008.
