Waitrose recalls batches of its Wholesome Mixed Seeds

Waitrose has recalled certain date codes of its own brand Wholesome Mixed Seeds (250g) because of the presence of salmonella. The Agency has issued a Food Alert for Information.
Waitrose has recalled the affected product from sale and has displayed point-of-sale notices in its stores. The notice advises the public about the reason for the recall and that customers can return the product to Waitrose for a full refund. The company's customer service helpline number is 0800 188 884.

The product recalled is:
- Waitrose Wholesome Mixed Seeds, 250g
- Best before: 8 March 2008 and 15 March 2008
No other Waitrose products or batch codes are known to be affected.
