Holland and Barrett recalls further sesame seed product batch

The Agency has issued a second updated Food Alert for Information in relation to a recall by Holland and Barrett of a further batch of Nature's Harvest sesame seed products (batch 29309), due to salmonella contamination.
The company has also withdrawn a number of other products containing sesame seeds from the same source on a precautionary basis.

The original alert issued on 12 October and the update issued on 18 October can be found at the links below. No other Holland and Barrett Nature’s Harvest products or batch codes are known to be affected.
Holland and Barrett has recalled the affected batches from sale. Point-of-sale notices will be displayed in its stores telling the public of the reason for the withdrawal.
