December 2009 second update on Official Controls

The European Commission’s implementing rules under Regulation (EC) No 669/2009 on increased level of controls on imports of high-risk feed and food of non-animal origin (non-POAO) from third countries will come into force on 25 January 2010.

The Official Feed and Food Controls (England) Regulations 2009 (SI 2009 No. 3255) as well as food business operator and enforcement officer guidelines have been published.
