Update on EU Regulation 882/2004 on Official Controls – implementing rules for import controls for 'high risk' feed and food of non-animal origin.

This is an update on the progress since April 2007 on negotiations at EU level on European Commission proposals for implementing rules under Regulation 882/2004 for import controls for 'high-risk' feed and food of non-animal origin (non-POAO).

It provides information on the outcome of discussions on the main issues at Commission Working Group meetings in May and June and invites any further comments on these.
