Information sheets for traders are available below, and provide advice about importing certain foodstuffs, any current import restrictions that apply, and where you can find information on labelling, marketing standards, additives (colourings, flavourings and certain preservatives) and pesticides.

Foodstuffs covered include sauces, oils, nuts, cereals, herbs, sugar, salt, cakes, supplements and drinks.

These sheets do not list individual food products, but instead provide advice on food categories. You will need to refer to the relevant sheet for the category specific to the product you wish to import. For example cakes will be covered by the sheet for ‘Bakery Products’.
