The Food Standards Agency aims to share good practice identified during local authority audits carried out as part of the Agency's audit programme.
We work with Local Government Regulation (previously known as LACORS) to arrange for any good practice identified with relevant local authority contact points for further information, to be published on the Local Government Regulation website at the link below.

Good practice identified during local authority audits in Scotland
When local authorities are to be audited by the Food Standards Agency Scotland they are asked to identify any area of work falling within the Framework Agreement on Local Authority Food Law Enforcement that the authority would want to nominate as an example of good practice.
