Animal feed approval
European Commission (EC) Regulation 183/2005 on Feed Hygiene requires feed businesses that manufacture, market or use certain additives and products for animal feed to be approved and/or registered.

Regulation 183/2005 requires Member States to make available to the public a national list of approved establishments. The list for the UK can be found at the link below.
Register of representatives of non-EU feed establishments
Under Regulation 183/2005, feed businesses in third countries (non-EU countries) that manufacture certain additives, premixtures of additives and compound feeds that contain them, and export such products to the EU, must have a representative registered in the EU. Feed premises register
Under the EU Feed Hygiene Regulation (183/2005), there is a system for the approval and registration of feed business establishments (premises) that manufacture, market, distribute or use animal feeds, including feed additives.
