Perth and Kinross is a vast and varied area of some 2200 square miles encompassing both highland and lowland landscapes. It has a population of approximately 135,000 people of which around 70% are rural dwellers.

Service Plan - A Service Plan has been produced which meets the requirements of the standard.

Food & Food Premises Complaints - These have been followed up in accordance with the Authority's procedure.

Food & Feedingstuffs Safety & Standards Promotion - The Authority are actively implementing food safety promotion.

Advice to Business - The Authority are providing advice to local businesses.

Complaints Against the Service - A policy and procedure is in place.

Control & Investigation of Outbreaks & Food Related Infectious Diseases - Recent sporadic cases have been followed up in accordance with the Authority's procedure.
