The audit covered Southampton City Council's food hygiene and food standards law enforcement service. The audit did not cover feeding stuffs enforcement activity nor local authority activity in relation to imported food. These were excluded from the scope of the audit because of initiatives elsewhere in the Agency in relation to these areas.
