Premier Foods is recalling certain batch codes of two Fray Bentos canned meat pie products due to the possible presence of small pieces of glass within the products.
Products:
Fray Bentos 'Boozy' Steak & Ale Pie, 475g
Batch codes: 1003 and 1004 Best Before End Jan 2013
Fray Bentos Steak & Onion Pie, 425g
Batch code: 1004 Best Before End Jan 2013

Action taken by the Company:
The company is recalling the affected products from consumers and will be issuing a product recall notice in national press on 31 March 2011. The notice explains the reason for recall and the actions consumers can take if they have bought the affected products. A copy of the product recall notice issued by Premier Foods is attached to this notice.
No other Fray Bentos/Premier Foods products are known to be affected.
Advice to consumers:
