Natco Foods Ltd is recalling specific batch codes of ground cumin, as salmonella has been detected in some parts of the affected batch. Investigations into the source of contamination are ongoing.

Natco Ground Cumin – 100g jar, 400g packs, 1kg packs and 5kg packs.
Best before date: September and October 2013

- 100g jars – 110930-BN6581, 111006-BN6731, 111018-BN7045 and 111018-BN7046
- 100g pack – 111004-BN6661
- 400g pack – 110929-BN6528, 110929-BN6527, 111024-BN7208
- 1kg pack – 111006-BN6768
- 5kg pack – 110929-BN6515, 111021-BN7166
Action taken by the company:
The company is recalling the affected product from consumers. Product recall notices will be displayed in stores that sell the product, explaining to consumers to return the product back to the place of purchase.
