Heads of Environmental Health and Directors of Trading Standards will wish to be aware that Mars Food UK is recalling two date codes of Dolmio Express Creamy Carbonara Pasta Sauce due to possible contamination with small pieces of hard plastic.
The implicated product mentioned below is being recalled. Product recall notices will appear in national press as of tomorrow, Wednesday 23rd September. Point of sale notices will also be displayed in those stores which stocked the affected product. These notices alert customers to the recall and advise them of what actions to take if they have purchased the product. A copy of the product recall notice is attached to this food alert.
The product recalled is:
- Dolmio Express Creamy Carbonara Pasta Sauce 330g
- Best before: 11/06/2010 & 12/06/2010
- Packaging: Flexible 330g plastic pouch
No other Dolmio Express products are known to be affected
