ASDA recalls two sizes of its ultra light mayonnaise product due to possible contamination with traces of metal

Asda has recalled the affected batch from sale as a precautionary measure. Product recall notices will appear in its retail stores and will be also published in the national press. These notices alert customers to the recall and advise them of what actions to take if they have purchased the product.

The product recalled is:

• ASDA Ultra Light Mayonnaise 500ml – Date Code: BBE DEC 2009
• ASDA Ultra Light Squeezy Mayonnaise 450ml – Date Code: BBE DEC 2009
