Aldi Stores has recalled four varieties of its own-brand chilled meat pies due to incorrect date coding of the products.
Aldi Stores has recalled the affected pies and will be placing recall notices in the national press on 1 October 2008. In addition product recall notices will be displayed in all stores. These notices alert customers to the recall and advise those who have bought the product to return it for a full refund. The incorrect use-by date applied to the products was 30 October 2008 and it should have been 30 September 2008.
The products recalled are:
- Crestwood (Aldi brand) Chicken & Leek Pie

Use by: 30 October 2008 (incorrect date)

Use by: 30 October 2008 (incorrect date)

Pack size: 800g
