TK Maxx and Homesense recall Properzi and Valentino branded nougat due to possible insect infestation

TK Maxx and Homesense are recalling, on a precautionary basis, all varieties of Properzi and Valentino branded Nougat. The recall follows two reports of insects being found in the nougat.

TK Maxx and Homesense have recalled these products and have issued point-of-sale notices in their stores and published a notice on the TK Maxx and Homesense websites. These notices will advise customers of the recall and the actions they can take if they have already purchased the affected product.

The products recalled are:

• Properzi Nougat – all varieties, all sizes, all dates
• Valentino Nougat – all varieties, all sizes, all dates

No other TK Maxx or Homesense products are known to be affected. The full product recall notices can be viewed below.
