Farley's recalls one batch of soya formula due to contamination with milk during processing

Farley's has withdrawn one batch of its own brand Soya Formula due to inadvertent contamination with milk during processing.
The affected batch was found to contain cows milk during routine sampling and the product is labelled as suitable for a milk and lactose free diet. Those with babies who are allergic to, or intolerant of, cow's milk and dairy products are advised not to use this product.
Farley's has undertaken a product recall of the affected batch code. A media statement has been issued and product recall notices will appear in the national press as from today. In addition, Farley's has been in contact with the Anaphylaxis Campaign and Allergy UK, which have informed all of their milk/dairy allergic members of the withdrawal via a mail shot. Farley's has also contacted the Vegan and Vegetarian Societies' headquarters to inform them of this recall.

Farley's Soya Formula 900g
Batch Number 607D (found on the base of the can)
Best Before 1 Feb 2008 (found on the base of the can)
No other batch codes of this product is known to be affected
