Tesco Stores Limited withdraws its own brand Healthy Living Plain Tortilla Wraps due to possible glass contamination

Tesco Stores Ltd has recalled their own brand Healthy Living Plain Tortilla Wraps due to possible presence of small fragments of glass. The source of the potential contamination has been identified and remedial action has been taken.

Tesco Stores Ltd has undertaken a product withdrawal of the affected product and issued point-of-sale notices in all stores to notify the consumer as from today 1 December 2006. The notice will advise consumers of the actions that they should take if they have already purchased the affected product.

The product withdrawn is:
Tesco Healthy Living Plain Tortilla Wraps, 8 pack
Batch Code: BBE 12/12/06 CV M1 332

No other Tesco Stores Ltd products are known to be affected.
